Smore’s Bars | Easy Summer Dessert Recipes

Easy Summer Desserts S'mores Bars

Last week we were heading to summer pool party and I needed to bring a dessert. One of the  things I think of when I hear summer is of course, s’mores! I love the combination of chocolate, marshmallow and good old-fashioned graham crackers. I was trying to find a way to combine all these in an easy to transport and less messy way to eat design. Enter the amazing S’mores Cookie Bar! All of the elements that you love in a s’more, but in a lovely little package!

 

What you need:

 

3 eggs

1 cup butter, melted

cup light brown sugar

1 TBSP vanilla extract

1 TBSP teaspoon baking soda

1 TSP teaspoon salt

3 cups All-Purpose Flour

4 Cup crushed Graham Crackers

2 Containers  marshmallow cream

1 bag of Milk Chocolate chips

What to do:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Add Vanilla, salt & flour, Mix till fully combined and smooth Smore's Bars Easy Summer Dessert Recipes-3

Line 9×13 pan with parchment paper
Press 3/4 cookie dough into pan evenly.Smore's Bars Easy Summer Dessert Recipes-7
Cover with layer of marshmallow cremeSmore's Bars Easy Summer Dessert Recipes-8
Layer on all but 1/2 cup of chocolate chips.Smore's Bars Easy Summer Dessert Recipes-9
Drop from spoon the remaining cookie dough onto the top layer, then press in with hands. Leave some marshmallow and chocolate chips peeking through.
Sprinkle top with remaining chocolate chips.Smore's Bars Easy Summer Dessert Recipes-10
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done.

A fun and delish recipe combining a cookie and s'more! Perfect for summer.
Ingredients
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup butter, melted

  • 1 TBSP teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 TSP teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups All-Purpose Flour

  • 1 bag of Milk Chocolate chips
Instructions

  4. Add crushed graham crackers.
  5. Line 9x13 pan with parchment paper
  6. Press ¾ cookie dough into pan evenly.
  7. Cover with layer of marshmallow creme
  8. Layer on all but ½ cup of chocolate chips.
  9. Drop from spoon the remaining cookie dough onto the top layer, then press in with hands. Leave some marshmallow and chocolate chips peeking through.
  10. Sprinkle top with remaining chocolate chips.
  11. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done.
